The location of the lodge offers a beautiful rural setting, with stunning views of the fields and Froggatt Edge. The cottage itself is modern and done to a high standard, providing complete privacy for guests. The hosts are accommodating and friendly, offering helpful recommendations for walks and places to eat. The cottage is also clean and well-presented, with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.

It would have been nice to have a bath in the bathroom, but this is just a personal preference.

Guests were welcomed by friendly hosts who provided helpful tips for dog walks and dog-friendly pubs in the area. the lodge itself is lovely, with a high standard of finish and all the amenities one could need for a few days away. Guests also appreciated the cosy and comfortable sofa and bed, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

The shower temperature is difficult to regulate, fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold.

Our stay at Kingfisher Lodge was fantastic value for money and the room was comfortable and cozy. The location was peaceful with stunning views, and the staff, especially Kate, were incredibly kind and accommodating.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a greater selection of items.

The location of the lodge in a picturesque village is definitely one of its highlights, allowing easy access to various attractions in the Peak District as mentioned in the reviews. guests appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms, such as the well-maintained bedrooms and bathrooms mentioned in the reviews. the underfloor heating and free WiFi were also advantages that added to the comfort and convenience of the accommodation.

Some guests did mention a lack of certain kitchen items and an ineffective underfloor heating system.

Had a great Easter break at this lodge! The location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions like Chatsworth House and Bakewell. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips for walks and places to eat. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, and the secure garden was a bonus for our dog. a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

We did encounter a couple of minor inconveniences. there was no milk provided for a proper cuppa upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing.

Kingfisher Lodge provided the most lovely setting and a really high standard of cleanliness. the hostess, Katie, was a gem, and the lodge itself was wonderful. It overlooked a large field of sheep, geese, and a horse paddock, creating a peaceful atmosphere. the living space was large, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. the outdoor table and chairs added a lovely touch, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The warm welcome from Katie made the stay even more enjoyable. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 🥰.

Villa hermosa, cocina totalmente equipada, lavadora, 4 habitaciones, 2 baños + aseo, camas cómodas con sábanas supersuaves. A los niños les encanta la piscina con larga tobogán.

    Nada, todo estuvo bien.

We had an amazing Christmas getaway! the cabin was modern, spacious, and had everything we needed. the view of the horses from the living room was a lovely touch. We enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of tea, taking in the beautiful surroundings. the nearby pub served delicious tapas and the walks along the river were delightful. Plus, our furry friend had a great time too. We can't wait to come back!

The lack of milk for a proper cup of tea and the limited hot water in the morning. these were minor inconveniences and didn't overshadow the overall lovely experience.

Lovely Lodge. During our stay, we found the lodge to be incredibly clean and comfortable, with ample space for two people and a dog. The location was fantastic, offering beautiful views and great local walks. We also appreciated the nearby selection of charming pubs for some delicious food. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the lack of storage space in the bedroom and a faulty kitchen bin pedal, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return. we highly recommend this lodge for a relaxing getaway.
